This page is devoted to the study of the Pre-Tribulational Rapture and it's teachings and teachers. The Pre-Trib Rapture is a very popular doctrine taught in many churches today, and is connected to a number of other doctrines associated with Dispensational Theology.
Because Dispensational Theology's house of cards comes tumbling down if the Pre-Trib Rapture is removed, this particular doctrine is defended most vehemently by those who teach it. Amazingly, even men and women of above average intellegence are driven to the point of ignoring facts and biblical evidence or lack of evidence as the case may be. These same people don't let the plain rules of the English language get in the way of their quest to keep the Pre-Trib Rapture safe. Whatever lengths need to be gone to is acceptable, even the impuning of other brothers and sisters in Christ to the point of questioning their salvation.
As of late, one of the tactics used by this increasingly militant group of "bible believers" is to call into question another's salvation on the basis of the gospel of Christ. As an example, if someone is worshipping Satan, then surely they would have to stop and place their faith and worship with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Is it wrong to tell someone such? Of course not! But these folks seem to be working for Satan, or at least have been decieved by him, and are trying to make this kind of thing an issue of salvation. They present an either/or message, theirs is right and anything that varies is wrong. Here is a comment found by a teacher on a website responding to a question:
"Do you tell a lost person to endure to the end to be saved> Or do you tell them to receive the free gift of salvation through the blood atonement of Jesus Christ?
This IS a salvation issue!"
I would answer, if it's appropriate, how about telling that person both!
It's a dangerous position the Pre-Tribbers have taken, having convinced themselves of the lie that they will be zoomed into heaven before anything bad happens here on earth. This is a comment posted by a teacher on his website in response to a question about the time of tribulation:
"You don't ever have to worry about taking the Mark of the Beast. One, the Church won't be here for the Tribulation, and two, even if we were, we have eternal security. "
Boy, I sure hope you're right.
